OPTTO is committed to protecting the privacy of all visitors to our website and all our clients in accordance to the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK -General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The information we collect

In order to create an account for you as a parent, student or tutor we require certain personal information which can include your name, telephone number, email, address and date of birth.

Registering as a tutor also require that you provide us with your resume, educational background and qualifications, the subjects you specialise in, your profile picture, gender, your availability. For identification verification you must have a valid ID, a recent and clean DBS, references and proof of the right to work in the UK.

We also require information on the year group, current and target grades, as well as the study areas in which our student require more support, in order to offer a student-centred learning syllabus. 

Financial information we require to bill or pay you for services include invoice and nominated bank account for tutors and payment card details for customers.

OPTTO does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties
